在某杂志社担任编辑的小山田实里（荣仓奈奈 饰），不得已接受了身为空姐的好朋友爱子（中村由里 饰）的委托，要在夏威夷为爱子的新婚策划“二次会”。早已厌烦了编辑部的一堆闲事，她假公济私征得主编的同意，总算踏上了前往夏威夷的散心之旅。在当地，她通过爱子结识了周游在各大派对渴望嫁入豪门的拜金女小茜（高梨临 饰）、西装革履四处捕获商机的勉（濑户康史 饰）以及看似穷困潦倒却有着十足自信和尊严的知哉（加濑亮 饰）。风光旖旎的夏威夷就好像一场关于天堂的美梦，然而美梦终将醒来，所有在此徘徊的人总归要找到前行的方向。 愉快的日子即将过去，实里和新结识的朋友们相继启程……One would not read travel guides written by an author who has not actually visited the destination like someone would not vote for a politician who has not been in the situation or position he or she wants to manage. Here, however, a woman who writes guides about Hawaii without ever setting foot on the island is finally given the chance to visit it when one her friends has a wedding party there. Simultaneously, another woman who attends parties to meet men are introduced to one another by the bride. The habitual party attendee has an ex-boyfriend who wants her back, but the travel guide's advice is for him to retreat and in the name of love find his ex another man.
