Host/narrator Dan Butler leads us through a fun, but extensively documented, exploration of gay film history, from subliminal subtext to clearly visible. Included are many film clips of classic films and golden age stars.

老片基情scrapbook，发现大家脑补的很多点都是共♂通的（听到说Lancaster有“sexual edge”的地方我一声大笑）。不过西部片和黑帮片里上了年纪总在主角身后的那种Walter Brennan式老头sidekick是我没想到的一类（我一般格外留意的都是主角身边同龄的二把手，Allen Jenkins那种可庄可谐的）。以前谜之觉得Lizabeth Scott老负责演“beard”，结果看这部第一次得知她被无良媒体曝过取向……似乎一切都说得通了.jpg，还有韦恩居然演过这么多微妙段落……整个纪录片看下来姨母笑时刻过多，narrator强行同框讲解的形式也很活泼。当安利向索引看就好

细细追究，一路上早就不是无人陪伴，这条路很早前就有人在走，只是蛛丝马迹需要你擦亮眼睛才能发现。
