Plot Summary:Esmeralda, an independent prostitute with a strong personality, loves two things: the samba dance that she frequents and her freedom, which she defends furiously. Outside the working hours demands respect and tranquility of the many pigheads of the place, surrounded by characters marked by misery and hopelessness.This human panel changes completely when to transform the tenement into a lucrative brothel, everyone is in danger of being evicted.
