Plot Summary:Saint-Maurice, an ordinary peaceful village, lived healthily so much so that the local doctor's practice was scant. But that was before Dr. Parpalaid retired and was replaced by a charlatan by the name of Knock. A real genius this one, for he soon managed to persuade everyone that they were ill. And not only didn't they resent him but they even loved their physician, who made a fortune and brought prosperity to the village by turning it into a big hospital.

法语作业是看Knock的法语原著，看了一点实在太多生词看不下去了。本想找找看有没有译本，没想到意外地找到了电影。但是找不到字幕，不带字幕看了半个小时，一头雾水，只好一边看着电影，一边对着原文当法语字幕，还好对白基本都是原文。剧本真的不错，结尾的忽悠老医生甚至看出了希区柯克电影的感觉。
四平八稳的银幕呈现。演员传神，台词扎实。
